Added several pics to the BBQ area gas is now done and dusted with certificate in hand ! Also one in radiators. Wanted a small motorised valve to isolate the AU radiator quoted here $ 750, bought superb quality ones from Chinese factory for $24. Wake up Aussie retailers !!

Have been busy with gas install, now out of the way can move forward again

Gas saga continues. Have a guy coming to do gas on Monday. He did a coach recently and my understanding is the install was audited by a gas inspector and passed. The MAIN gas line was INSIDE the bins as the gas inspector regarded the main members in the bins as the CHASSIS members alongside which the MAIN line should run. Yet another gas inspector regards this as wrong and can take it off the road. Clear ? I think not !!

Added some more pics to Liz and Chris Burgess project page, their roof lift is coming along nicely, I know several members are keeping tabs on it with a view to having theirs done by the same operator.

Can’t thank this couple too much for keeping us all updated with their progress, there are many here who seem to be keeping their project a secret, or are perhaps just too lazy or apathetic to bother, what with the emailing of a few photos being such a time consuming exercise !! Get over it guys and show others how you are getting along.

My gas comments have upset a few, just relaying what a senior gas inspector told me is his interpretation of the code, I reserve my own comments apart from, “this should not happen”. Put son on plane this morn for couple years teaching English in Japan (he is a teacher) so am hoping a lot of the time consuming stuff of the last couple of weeks is now out of the way. Unless any of you want to buy his VRX Lancer ?
